De Kwakel, September 2022 – As of 1 September, United Selections has started to carry out the sales activities for the Difference Roses pot rose range. Through this collaboration, Difference Roses gains exposure to different production areas. In addition to the Netherlands, the range will also be available to other growers and countries. Difference Roses is a partnership between HPD Potplanten and breeder Agriom, both located in De Kwakel. United Selections in Aalsmeer is active worldwide in the breeding and marketing of cut roses in particular.
“Providing producers worldwide with top quality and high yielding pot roses. That is our aim”, says Jaap Stelder, director of Agriom in De Kwakel. The range is currently grown exclusively by HPD. The pot roses from Difference Roses stand out because of their growth characteristics, excellent shelf life, disease and pest resistance, and of course, their beautiful flower shape. ,,With United Selections, we have found a good partner who can put our pot roses assortment in the picture worldwide.” The two companies will continue to pursue their breeding activities separately.

United Selections will introduce the Difference Pot Roses at all upcoming shows and events, including the Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando (October 27-29) and IFTF (November 9-11) in Vijfhuizen, among others.
